LIFE KT17 - JOIN US FOR OUR LAUNCH EVENT ON 19th MAY
Stuck in the rental rut? Make a change! Believe it or not, owning your own apartment could cost less than renting if you buy a share with Thames Valley Housing.
LIFE, a stylish, contemporary and aspirational collection of 10 one and two bedroom apartments is part of the brand new development at Mercury House. Living here, you’ll have Ewell’s cafes, bars, restaurants and shops on hand – as well as easy access to Epsom’s bustling shopping centre.
The LIFE apartments are available on a shared ownership basis through Thames Valley Housing – and if you’re eligible you could soon be en-route to an exciting new lifestyle. You’ll need to pay a deposit and arrange a mortgage to cover the cost of the share you’re buying. Your mortgage payments and the rent you’ll pay on the remaining share could be cheaper than if you were buying the apartment on the open market or renting it privately. Becoming a home owner will change your life in so many ways!
When you need to get out and about, you’ll appreciate the location of LIFE. Set at the junction of Cheam Road and the High Street (A232), LIFE provides excellent road links. Travel South to Epsom by means of the Ewell by-pass (The A240) or North to the A3 at Tolworth. The A3 which links London and the South Coast, can be accessed at Tolworth to the north and provides access to Guildford, Wimbledon and Putney. Junction 9 of the M25 is close by which makes it easy to travel to Gatwick and Heathrow airports.
Ewell station offers fast and frequent rail services into London’s Victoria and Waterloo stations. From Ewell West, the journey to London Waterloo is approximately 32 minutes and the journey to Victoria is approximately 34 minutes. There is also another service to London which calls at Worcester Park, Raynes Park, Wimbledon and Earlsfield stations.

Thames Valley Housing was established in 1966, completing our first building project 2 years later. Our commitment to making home ownership more accessible was evident as far back as 1980, when we delivered our first shared ownership homes. In 1999 we were proud to sell the UK's first home under the Government's HomeBuy Scheme.
In 2001 we achieved Charter Mark accreditation, and we added to our quality standards a year later when we gained the Investors in People award. We were delighted when the Housing Corporation appointed us as a preferred partner to provide new homes in West London and the South East in 2003.
Following our inspection, the Audit Commission awarded us a ‘Good' 2-star rating in 2005. A year later we featured in the Sunday Times ‘Top 100 companies to work for list.' Later that year we marked our 40th year by celebrating the completion of our 10,000th home at Stream Banks, Guildford.
In 2008 we brought affordable home ownership to the high street, opening our Homebuy4you sales shop in Camberley.
2009 saw us support a number of local projects through our newly launched Community Chest investment programme. We also expanded our learning and development activities, launching our Residents Training and Employment Centre.
