Biggleswade is a stone’s throw from a great selection of shops and supermarkets, offering occupants of Saxon Fields a great choice of shopping. Chains such as Sainsburys, Asda and Iceland are all close by within a short distance of Saxon Fields so you won’t have to travel far to get your everyday essentials. 

Leisure

Saxon Pool & Leisure Centre is just minutes from Saxon Fields and accommodates a vast selection of sports and activities for the whole family including a fully-equipped gymnasium and indoor swimming pool. If you would like to enjoy the countryside Langford Meadow is a famous nature reserve made up of a variety of habitats and ponds. The Market Square is the focus of the town centre. It is surrounded by shops and hosts a street market on Saturdays. At times it is used for special events but otherwise it provides car parking spaces. Biggleswade Shopping Centre mostly comprises small specialist shops. Give them a try. It is amazing what some of them stock! On Saturday the shops are supplemented by the market stalls.

Education

Saxon Fields has a good selection of education institutions. In terms of Primary Schools Southlands Lower School is available for 4-9 year olds, and for secondary schools Stratton Upper School and Community College is close to the development. For sixth form education Stratton Upper School and Community College is available.

Transport

Whether your transport preference is by road or train, Saxon Fields is ideally located for either. Trains to London run every 23 minutes from Biggleswade train station and take little over an hour to get to the centre of the capital. As well as great rail links Saxon Fields offers convenient ease of access to the A1.
