Join the B455 (Castlebar Road). After approximately half a mile turn left onto Castlebar Hill (B455) then at the roundabout take the second exit onto Kent Gardens (B445). At the roundabout take the first exit onto Scotch Common then at the next roundabout take the third exit onto Argyle Road (B452). Continue along the B452 then at the traffic lights turn left onto Ruislip Road East (B455). Continue along the B455 and at the roundabout take the second exit (B455). After approximately a quarter of a mile turn left at the traffic lights onto Broadmead Road.
Northolt has a good selection of educational institutions. The local primary school is Willow Tree Primary, available for 4-9 year olds. For secondary schools there is Northolt High School. There are also a number of independent schools and colleges in the area.
From its marina setting alongside the Grand Union Canal, travelling from Grand Union Village could not be easier. There is a choice of three nearby stations – Northolt, Greenford and Northolt Park – offering both underground and overground services to London and beyond. Numerous bus routes also offer convenient links around the city, including the N7 night bus. London Heathrow Airport is around seven miles away and offers a choice of over 90 airlines flying to more than 170 destinations worldwide. Eurostar services from London St. Pancras International are 44 minutes away via the London underground network, and provide efficient, direct connections to France and Belgium, as well as connecting services across Europe. Also benefiting from excellent access to major road routes, the M4, M40 and M25 are all close by, ensuring journey times to tourist attractions and other cities are kept to a minimum.
