Frequent buses link Sheriffhall Park & Ride to central Edinburgh via the Royal Infirmary. Approximately 15 buses per hour during week days with a less frequent service in the evenings and at weekends. There is also a selection of Lothian Transport buses from Dalkeith to Edinburgh.
There is a frequent rail service from Musselburgh to Edinburgh which takes around 15 minutes.
Dial-A-Ride provides a door to door transport service for people with limited mobility who can not manage public transport. The service is provided by Handicabs Lothian Ltd and is financially supported by Midlothian Council.
There are a number of local surgeries in the area and the new Royal Infirmary can be found in Edinburgh.
