New homes developer Weston Homes launched its latest residential development in West Drayton on Saturday, called Fortis, which features a collection of 89 two, three, four and five bedroom houses, set within the large and sustainable Drayton Garden Village scheme.
Situated on the former RAF West Drayton site, Drayton Garden Village is an entirely new neighbourhood in West London, covering 31 acres and an environment surrounded by gardens, green spaces and tree-lined avenues.
When complete, Drayton Garden Village will comprise a sustainable community of 773 homes, an 80 bed care home, community facilities and commercial opportunities. Prices start from £247,500.
Fortis also has good transport connections across London and will benefit from the new Crossrail scheme, which will provide a quick and direct commute to central London, the Square Mile and Docklands upon completion in 2017.
An innovative Combined Heat and Power (CHP) energy centre is now under construction at Drayton Garden Village. Each new build home will contain an innovative Heat Interface Unit (HIU) to control heating and hot water, providing substantial benefits to residents in helping to reduce their energy bills and carbon footprint.
Potential buyers are now being invited to view the show home at Fortis which was launched on Saturday.
Bob Weston, chairman and chief executive of Weston Homes, comments: "Fortis is an exciting new neighbourhood in West London providing sustainable homes and creating a new community at Drayton Garden Village, which should appeal to everyone. This development benefits from a vast amount of green space and quick and easy transport links to London and we anticipate that there will be a lot of interest in the homes available at Fortis."
