McCarthy & Stone has reduced the price for its remaining one-bedroom retirement living apartments by a sizeable £20,000 this summer at four developments across Scotland - Granary Mews in Dumfries; Kingsferry Court in Braehead; Kittoch Court in East Kilbride; and Fishers Court in Pitlochry. This excellent offer is available subject to completion by 22nd August 2012, so it looks like summer is the time to make a move to one of these new homes in Scotland for those considering retirement living.
Suzanne McElhiney, marketing manager with the leading retirement living provider, explains the reasons for this offer: "We're keen to reassure buyers that now is a good time to make their move, and our £20,000 discount on one-bedroom apartments will make that move much more affordable for a wide range of buyers. A £20,000 discount could be the difference between making that move into retirement living or having to delay the decision. As always we aim to keep the actual process of buying and selling very easy, simple and un-stressful for customers - leaving them free to look forward to enjoying retirement life in their new apartment."
McCarthy & Stone developments offer a range of one- and two-bedroom apartments, tailored to the needs of older people with on-site facilities such as a laundry-room, a central lounge for recreation and social events, a lift and a hotel-style guest suite for visiting friends and family. There's also a 24-hour personal emergency service, as well as a TV security system monitoring the main entrance. A house manager is responsible for daily management of gardeners, window cleaning and maintenance staff, as well as organising social events with the residents of these new-build retirement homes.
For a limited period, new visitors who take a tour around the show apartments at any one of the participating developments will also receive a £20 M&S voucher, subject to terms and conditions.
