Taylor Wimpey in Scotland tackles affordability myths with January special offers

Taylor Wimpey is encouraging all house hunters - whether first-time buyers or existing owners - to come along to one of its developments in January to make the most of some great special offers and find out the truth about some of the myths of the affordability of new homes in Scotland.

While a recent survey on behalf of Halifax confirms that 92% of respondents thought it was hard for first-time buyers to get a mortgage, Taylor Wimpey's figures show that overall 92%* of mortgage applications made by their clients are successful; and 90%** of first-time buyers get the green light on their mortgage applications, after being pre-qualified by an Independent Financial Advisor.
