Special Christmas deals for homebuyers in Stirling from Cruden Homes

Scottish housebuilder Cruden Homes is offering house hunters searching for a new home in Stirling a very special deal in the run-up to the festive season at its Stirling Bridge development. At a time when homebuyers are especially cash strapped with expenses for the 25th December and the holidays, Cruden Homes has reduced the reservation fee at the development to just £99 with nothing more to pay until March 2012.

Buyers will also get their five per cent deposit paid and get floor coverings included, or alternatively, can take advantage of a shared equity offer, where they only have to pay 85% of the purchase price up front, with 15% deferred for up to ten years, interest-free. The offer only runs up to Christmas, so prospective buyers are urged to act quickly to take advantage of this deal.

Most of this development of new homes in Scotland's youngest city has already been sold or reserved, leaving just a handful of three-bedroom terrace houses for sale, priced from £134,995. With the shared equity option, the up-front price is reduced to £114,745, meaning a much lower deposit and mortgage requirement. There's no interest to pay on the balance, which must be repaid after ten years or when the home is sold, whichever is sooner.

Stirling Bridge features a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and two-, three- and four-bedroom houses. The remaining homes are set out over two storeys, with a cloakroom, kitchen/dining room and separate living room on the ground floor and a family bathroom and three bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room and built-in wardrobes. Each house comes with a fully fitted kitchen, double glazing, private garden and a double-space driveway.

The development is in the north-west of the city, close to Kildean Hospital and the River Forth and just a few minutes from the A84 and M9. It's also not far from the city centre, with its historic castle and modern amenities and shops.
