Homebuyers on a budget looking at new homes in Hampshire will find Portsmouth a lively, exciting university town with plenty of affordable new-build property available, including some on a part-buy/part-rent or shared ownership basis. Rich in seafaring history, Portsmouth offers great shopping, nightlife and easy links to London and the Isle of Wight.

The Waterfront development by Berkeley Homes offers stunning one- and two-bedroom apartments in The Salthouse, from £115,000 to £135,000. Situated within the Royal Clarence Marina development in Portsmouth Harbour, these contemporary apartments are ideal for the first time buyer or couples looking for new homes in Portsmouth.
