Lovell hosts mortgage advice event in Nottingham this weekend

Having only recently unveiled a new phase of homes at the development, Lovell is now inviting would-be homebuyers to come to The Glades this weekend, 6th and 7th October, where the housebuilder is hosting a mortgage advice event. As well as receiving free, independent mortgage advice, potential purchasers can find out more about the remaining houses for sale and their eligibility for the government's NewBuy scheme or Lovell's own 85%/15% shared equity scheme.

From Saturday 6th to Sunday 7th October, we will have an independent mortgage adviser at The Glades to offer free, impartial and professional advice to those who want to know more about the schemes available to use at The Glades."

With two- and three-bedroom houses for sale from £118,500, there is a good choice of property types for those buying their first home or moving from an existing property to one of these new homes in Nottingham, which are located in Top Valley just six miles north of central Nottingham. The NewBuy and shared equity options mean that with a deposit of as little as 5%, house-hunters who may have thought their budget could only stretch to property to rent can find a way into homeownership.

NewBuy provides 95% mortgages to creditworthy homebuyers on new-build homes valued up to £500,000. The shared equity scheme gives buyers 100% ownership of their new home but only requires them to pay as little as 85% of the price upfront. The balance is provided by Lovell in the form of an equity loan that only needs to be paid back when the property is sold or after ten years, whichever is sooner.
