This weekend, 11th and 12th August 2012, is a very busy one for the staff of Redrow Homes (Lancashire) as some of the company's developments in the northwest of England host special events for homebuyers. So if you're hoping to find a property in Garston, Manchester or Chorley, it is worth clearing a space in your diary to go and check out what the housebuilder has to offer.
At Cressington Heath in Garston, South Liverpool, Redrow is offering a special £5,000 package of personalisation options to anyone reserving a home on the site off-plan on Saturday 11th August. The development has a range of three-bedroom houses for sale from £179,999.
Claire Jarvis, sales director for Redrow Homes (Lancashire), explains: "Buying off-plan, before a house is physically built, gives you two key advantages. Firstly, there are more properties available in a development's early stages, so you can generally secure the house of your choice in the position you want. Secondly, you have more likelihood of being able to personalise the interior. This Saturday we're encouraging people to buy off-plan by giving them up to £5,000 to spend on customising their home with Redrow options. They will be able to choose from an enhanced range of kitchen cabinets, work surfaces and bathroom tiles, plus other extras and upgrades."
Over in the Chorley area that day, there's a chance to see a brand new ‘Kensington' show house at The Village Green in Buckshaw Village: this three-storey, three-/four-bedroom home is priced from £223,995 and offers a flexible layout that includes a convivial lounge (some of which have a sun terrace), a kitchen/dining area with Juliet balcony, master bedroom with en suite, family bathroom, two further bedrooms, shower room and a fourth bedroom/study together with an integral garage.
Also on Saturday 11th August, at Sandhurst Gardens Redrow is hosting a ‘homebuyers' surgery' which gives house-hunters the chance to find out more about the range of purchase incentives open to them at this development. This includes FirstBuy, a shared equity scheme for first-time buyers, part exchange for existing homeowners who want help selling their existing home and NewBuy, the government-backed 95% mortgage scheme that is open to both groups of buyers.
Claire Jarvis adds: "When it comes to new homes in and around Chorley, we've got it covered. From first-time buyer properties and family homes within half a mile of the town centre at Sandhurst Gardens to a wide selection of homes in the new village environment of Buckshaw Village, we've earned a reputation for quality, choice and value."
On Sunday 12th August, the Redrow team hosts another ‘homebuyers' surgery' at Woodville Gardens in Harpurhey in Central Manchester. The company's easi:buy shared equity scheme is available on selected plots here, which requires only a 5% deposit and allows the buyer to defer payment of a proportion of the price with an equity loan, interest-free for up to ten years. A mortgage adviser will be present from noon to 4.00pm to assess individual buyers' finances free of charge.
