Gener8 will provide over 1,000 new homes in Manchester
Housebuilder Lovell has just opened the first show home at its major Gener8 scheme in Manchester. Gener8 will eventually provide over 1,000 new homes at the New East Manchester regeneration site in Miles Platting, just a short distance from the city centre.
The first show home to be unveiled to homebuyers is a four-bedroom, three-storey ‘Platley' semi-detached house type. On the ground floor of this family home is a guest cloakroom, a kitchen/dining room, complete with a range of integrated appliances, and a living room at the rear, a light and airy space that grants access to the private rear garden via French doors. There are a family bathroom and two bedrooms on the first floor, as well as a small private balcony overlooking the street. On the top floor is a master bedroom with en suite shower room and a fourth bedroom that could be used as a study. The ‘Platley' costs from £149,995.
The current phase offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for sale priced from £110,995, £134,995 and £149,995 respectively. Lovell's high-quality specification and ten-year NHBC warranty are standard on all these new homes in Manchester. The show home is open for prospective purchasers to view from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Thursday to Monday.
Gener8 is located just a mile from Manchester Piccadilly station and a mile and a half from the Arndale Shopping Centre and some of the city's best shopping streets. The development is also on the doorstep of the Sportcity complex and not far from Manchester City's football stadium. The local streets are served by a number of regular bus services into the city centre and for those with their own transport, there are easy routes into central Manchester and out to the M60. Gener8 will also provide more walking and cycling options to local destinations.
