Taylor Wimpey's special offers present something for every Cambridgeshire buyer

With London just an hour away by car or train, Cambridgeshire offers a convenient base within commuting distance of the capital - and Taylor Wimpey's new developments offer a selection of special offers tailored towards different buyers' needs.

Just two miles from the centre of the market town of St Ives, formerly known as Slepe, Taylor Wimpey's Slepe Meadow development offers a mix of two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom houses priced from £127,500 to to £315,000. While St Ives offers an excellent range of amenities and well-respected local schools, the city of Cambridge is only 15 miles away, and London 68 miles away for bigger shopping trips or commuting. For those who prefer to take the train, Huntingdon train station is five miles from the development, offering easy access to London King's Cross in an hour and Peterborough in 16 minutes. Further east in Cambridgeshire, Taylor Wimpey's Lion Mills development is now offering a new release of homes near the centre of the small town of Soham, between Ely and Newmarket (just over the border in Suffolk). Properties range from two-bedroom apartments, priced from £114,995 to £131,995, up to detached, four-bedroom family homes, some with river frontage. Special offers at the site include the Government's FirstBuy scheme, Easymover, and Part Exchange. Soham has a village atmosphere yet offers an expanding range of amenities including schools, restaurants and leisure facilities, with Ely just five miles away for larger supermarkets and a wider choice of entertainment.

Other Taylor Wimpey developments in Cambridgeshire where plots are available with FirstBuy, Easymover and Part Exchange include a new release of two- and three-bedroom homes at Dukes Park in the new settlement of Cambourne, priced from £159,995; and a selection of two- to five-bedroom homes at Willowcroft in the village of Eye Green, just five miles from Peterborough, priced from £91,995.
