Linden Homes has just celebrated the official opening of the first street at its St Nicholasgate development in Beverley. Guest of honour Cllr Peter Astell, the town's mayor, cut the ribbon in front of a select audience including Linden Homes employees and some of the first residents of these new homes in East Yorkshire.
Linden Homes' connections and marketing manager Gizzy Murray says: "The development has created a real buzz about the town from its early days, and it continues to do so. The street scene is the latest in the development's progress and we were delighted that the mayor was able to join us to see St Nicholasgate truly taking shape."
St Nicholasgate is providing 130 new homes in Beverley, a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom home styles that is proving its appeal to a wide range of homebuyers in the area, from single first-time purchasers to growing families. Homes on the current phase are priced from £149,950 to £249,950. Linden Homes is offering a range of incentives at the development, including Part Exchange, FirstBuy and the Linden Assist scheme to help those moving home.
Linden Homes is shortly to open a new show home at the development, though anyone hoping to find a property to meet their requirements in the mean time is invited to visit the current show property and the sales and marketing suite at the development, which are open daily from 10.30am to 5.00pm.
These new homes are located close to the historic town centre at Beverley, just eight miles north of Hull and within easy commuting distance of Grimsby, York and destinations along the M62. There are a host of useful shops and amenities close to home, too, and it's not far from St Nicholasgate to the Yorkshire coastline or to the North York Moors National Park.
