Residential property developer Arley Homes has begun work on 15 desirable new homes in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
Located on Dean Row, on the site of the former Oaklands Primary school, the new development, called The Oaks, will consist of a selection of four-bedroom semi-detached and five-bedroom detached family homes. Prices are yet to be confirmed but are likely to range from £335,000 to £660,000.
The scheme will feature five of Arley's distinctive house types, including the five-bedroom Grantham (pictured). The housebuilder has long insisted that it is committed to building classic, timeless, traditional new homes in good locations, and this development appears to fit the bill.
Following the success of two nearby developments, Knightswood in Cheadle Hulme and Dunham Chase in Altrincham, both of which sold out before their showhomes were even launched, Arley Homes is anticipating high demand for new homes in The Oaks.
"This is an absolutely fantastic location and is likely to be hugely popular with families and young professional alike," said John Cosgrave, managing director of Arley Homes.
He added: "Wilmslow is highly desirable area not only for its Cheshire connections, but also for its schools, the shops, bars and restaurants of the town centre, and its close links to the region's main roads and motorways. If the success of our recent developments in Altrincham and Cheadle Hulme are any sign of demand in the south Manchester and north Cheshire property market, then I'm confident The Oaks will be a very popular addition to our portfolio."
