Thames Valley Housing has launched Alpha Park, a development of 19 affordable, family homes located in Berryfields, Aylesbury, the popular Buckinghamshire town. These spacious homes are available through Shared Ownership, the part buy; part rent government initiative, which aims to help people purchase their own home. Prices at Alpha Park start from £74,000 for a 40% share in a two-bedroom house priced at £185,000.

Hillreed Homes is about to embark on a major new development, Burfield Valley off Battle Road ( A295) in Hailsham in East Sussex , which will provide a varied range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes, including many affordable homes.
Affordable homes in Lancashire
Rowland Homes and Lazarus Properties want to build 16 affordable homes as part of a wider residential scheme in Leyland, Lancashire. The development would mainly comprise of two-storey homes, and a three-floor block of six apartments, if approved. South Ribble planners are expected to make a final decision in the next few days.
New affordable homes in Carlisle
Lovell has started building work on a collection of affordable homes in Carlisle, on behalf of Two Castles Housing Association. The £1.65m development at Newtown Meadows, Brookside, which is being built in partnership with Carlisle City Council, forms part of the ongoing regeneration of the area. It will feature 13 two- and three-bedroom semi-detached homes to rent, for people in the greatest housing need.
Affordable new homes in London
PRP Architects, London Borough of Brent and L&Q have recently completed the first stage of their £600 million, 48 hectare regeneration masterplan scheme in South Kilburn, Brent. The complex, named Watling Place, features 113 affordable, 20 shared ownership and 20 private sale homes including 24 family maisonettes and 7 family apartments.
