Housebuilders are building affordable homes across Britain.

Affordable new homes in Wiltshire
The first new affordable homes in Westbury have been handed over to the new residents, signalling a significant milestone for the scheme. The new homes are being built by Aster Communities in partnership with Persimmon Homes.

Affordable homes in Berwick
Isos has completed construction work on 14 affordable homes on Kennedy Green, off Meadow Lane in the village of Beadnell.

"I very much welcome this very attractive and energy efficient scheme and am really pleased Isos is maintaining its commitment to build schemes like this," said local MP Sir Alan Beith, who officially opened the scheme alongside two of the new residents.

Telford and Wrekin Council has approved HDD Newport Ltds plans to develop 285 new homes in Newport, including around 100 much needed affordable homes.

Affordable new homes in the Midlands
Up to deliver 1,700 new affordable homes will be built across the Midlands after an innovative funding deal worth £250m. The Longhurst Group, together with their appointed financial advisors Savills, raised the funding through the bonds market. The group already owns and manages more than 17,800 affordable homes in the Midlands.

Affordable homes in Wilmslow
A planning application has been submitted on behalf of Equity Housing Group to develop a residential development of 30 affordable homes on the site of Oakdean Court in Wilmslow. An existing sheltered housing block will be demolished to make way for the proposed residential development, which will consist of six bungalows, seven two-bedroomed houses and 17 three-bedroom houses.

New affordable homes in Cambridgeshire
A planning application to build eight affordable homes on former agricultural land in Stretham, located within the cathedral city of Ely, has been resubmitted to the district council. Mr AJ Lee is seeking approval to build eight semi-detached homes on land at the rear of 7 Wilburton Road. According to the plans, the proposed new homes will be in keeping with the character of existing properties in the village.
