Show home in Leicester ‘Gets the Look’

A show home built by new home developer David Wilson East Midlands has been selected as the backdrop for Dunelm Mill's latest national marketing campaign, Get the Look.

The household furnisher, whose head offices are in Syston, utilised the four-bedroom detached Eaton style showhome at The Chestnuts development to photograph various home ware in situ.

The kitchen of the showhome was chosen as the setting due to its modern and contemporary appearance not to mention its stylish décor that housed the kitchen and dining ware perfectly.

The Get the Look campaign, which launched earlier this month, is a national in-store point of sale campaign that demonstrates how customers can achieve a showhome style look on a budget.

Louise Barltrop from Dunelm Mill, comments: "A show home is the perfect place for us to show our homes range and demonstrate that getting the designer look on a small budget is easy and inexpensive. In the current climate many people are on a budget when it comes to revamping the home and Dunelm Mill's range of over 20,000 items, all offering value for money, means that anyone can makeover a room without having to spend a fortune."

Philip Lacey, sales director at David Wilson, comments "As a fellow Leicester-based company, we didn't hesitate in letting Dunelm Mill utilise the showhome at The Chestnuts, which, like Dunelm, is based in Syston.

"It's a stylish and well-planned property which makes a great family home and as you can tell from the campaign, it's relatively easy to get the showhome look inside one of our stylish new homes with the help of Dunelm products.

"Like David Wilson, Dunelm Mill is a well established local firm and it has been a pleasure working with them on this project."

The Eaton show home at The Chestnuts development, where prices start from 134,995, is available for the public.
