Where is your firm selling new homes? We are selling new homes in Bishops Stortford, Saffron Walden, Grt Dunmow, Little Canfield, Leadon Roding and Stansted Mountfitchet.
What types of properties are on offer? One-bed apartments, barn conversions, two- and three- bedroom houses, five- and six-bedroom detached houses, town houses as well as listed building conversions.
How much does a new home cost to buy? From about £130,000 to £1.5m currently, but there is no real upper limit.
What makes a new home stand out from the crowd? High specifications, a wide range of quality finishes, various new homes incentives, while new homes are chain free.
Have you noticed any particular buying trends recently? We have noticed that more people are downsizing and so a general preference for new homes with fewer larger rooms, rather than lots of small rooms.
Is your company currently offering any incentives or discounts to homebuyers? Some of our developers are offering to pay stamp duty and part-exchange on various sites.
Which new homes development potentially offers the best property investment prospects? Small two-bedroom properties close to amenities offer the best investment opportunities as they are sough-after by both renters and homebuyers. Capital growth in our area is always steady when we are not in recession! Returns vary a lot on how you finance the purchase. We have a lot of cash rich investors looking to get better returns than the banks offer currently.
What is Mullucks Wells Land & New Homes' USP? We deal with the majority of small to medium size housebuilders locally, dealing with the land sale and subsequent resale's, we are involved with design and planning, local knowledge is key to find the sites in first lace.
