A draft plan by Waverley Borough Council shows that up to 120 new homes could be built on an 8,000sqm plot in the village of Milford.
Located south west of Godalming in Surrey, the proposed new homes would be built on a site surrounding Milford Hospital.
But before a final decision about the development is made, members of the general public are being invited to have their say on the council's plans to develop new homes in the area.
Councillor Adam Taylor-Smith said: "We want to hear from people in the area, particularly people in the immediate area, about what they see as being the challenges and the opportunities for the site."
There are a wide range of new homes being built across Surrey, including a selection of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom houses at The Acres in Langshott, Horley, which is being developed by Barratt Homes. Prices range from £238,995 to £538,995.
In Reigate, Banner Homes will soon start work on a range of new apartments in Doods Road, with prices ranging from £200,000 to £450,000.
