People seeking to buy a new home in Rugby are being given the chance to move into a brand new home from David Wilson East Midlands with just a 5% deposit thanks to the housebuilder's popular Head Start payment deferral scheme.

Interested homehunters are being invited along to an exclusive Head Start event this weekend, the 2nd and 3rd October, to find out more about this scheme.

Head Start is a payment deferral scheme that allows David Wilson customers to move into a new home for initially 85% of the asking price. The remaining 15% is funded through a deferred David Wilson loan which is payable either in ten years time or when the property sells, whichever comes sooner.

Homebuyers who choose to take advantage of this scheme can secure a new home for £174,424 meaning buyers at the Oaklands can move into a brand new home with a deposit of £8,712.

Philip Lacey, sales director at David Wilson, comments: "Increasing numbers of our customers who are struggling to find a 20% deposit are taking advantage of shared equity deals like Head Start to help facilitate a move.

"With this scheme you can initially move into a new home for just 85% of the full purchase price meaning you only need to find a deposit of £8,712 to buy one of our stunning new homes.

"Oaklands is a superb development offering quality housing in a pleasant part of Rugby and we're hosting an exclusive Head Start event this weekend, the 2nd and 3rd October, for any interested homehunters to come along to find out more."

The Head Start event is being held this weekend, the 2nd and 3rd October, between 11am and 6pm.

Oaklands is located on Crackthorne Drive in the exciting new community of Coton Park. It currently offers a range of three-, four- and five- bedroom homes, with prices starting from £204,995 for a three- bedroom home.
