New homes in Leicester selling fast

Wednesday 22nd September 2010

Demand for new build homes in the Leicester suburb of Humberstone is growing with new homes by Crest Nicholson reportedly selling fast.

Following the sell-out success of Albermarle Park, the new home developer launched The Pines in May. The gated new home development offers a selection of three, four and five-bedroom homes that are proving popular.

Amanda Benjamin, area sales manager for Crest Nicholson, commented: "We knew from the success of Albermarle Park and other developments in the Leicester area that there was a demand for new homes, but the sales rate has exceeded our expectations. We've already sold more than half of the properties at The Pines and have potential purchasers interested in the remaining plots."

All of the three and four-bedroom homes - including the Malvern show home - have been sold.

The remaining properties are all five-bedroom Brockwell style homes, designed over three floors.

"The new Brockwell show home opened at the end of July and almost immediately we sold three properties of the same design," Benjamin said.

"The Brockwell is a prime example of how three storey town houses, which were popular in the Victorian era, are perfectly suited to modern family living."

Features in the new build houses include a dining room opening out onto the garden and a master bedroom with an en-suite.

"Buying a new home is one of the most important decisions we make, and making sure that our customers are well looked after is a real priority for us. With just seven plots still available at The Pines, I would urge anyone considering moving to a new home in Humberstone to visit the sales office without delay," Benjamin concluded.
