It has been a good start to the year for new homes builder Hillreed Homes with site visits and new homes sales increasing significantly.
The housebuilder reports that it has seen a hike in demand for its new homes in Kent, Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire, with site visits rising by 26% and new homes sales up 22% in January 2012 compared to the corresponding month last year.
"This is an excellent figure showing the demand for new homes", said Dean Markall, sales and marketing director of Hillreed Homes. "New homes offer buyers easy to maintain, low running cost properties which include guarantees on everything from the build to the washing machine."
Hillreed Homes, which was established over 35 years, is currently developing a wide selection of new homes for sale throughout several counties in the South East of England.
In Betsham, Kent, Hillreed Homes is developing a small development of just eight two-, three- and four-bedroom homes on the site of the Colyers Place public house. prices range form £222,950 to £364,950.
In Ashtead, Surrey, the housebuilder is developing seven detached and semi-detached houses located at Wishing Tree Place within walking distance of Ashtead common. Prices start from £419,950.
Markall added: "With mortgages at an exceedingly low interest rate, buying is often much cheaper than renting an equivalent property and of course there is the added benefit of knowing that you are investing in bricks and mortar for the future. Homes have always stood the test of time and the 21st century is no different."
