The Mountain View site
Housebuilder Taylor Wimpey has announced that it is slashing £10,000 off three house styles, as part of an end of summer sale, at its Mountain View development in Wrexham.
The new homes developer is also offering a shared equity EasyStart scheme on these properties, meaning buyers can benefit from purchasing a new home for 85% of the price now, with just a 5% deposit required; making them even more affordable.
Taylor Wimpey is hoping to boost sales by cutting £10,0000 off three different styles of home on the development: The Westbrook, The Buxton and The Croxton; with the lucrative EasyStart initiative available on each, which is ideal for first-time buyers.
Anthony Mansfield, Taylor Wimpey's sales and marketing director for the region, commented: "This development has already proven a hit with first-time buyers and we are eager to continue offering practical solutions for those looking to get a foot on the property ladder.
"A massive 30% of our annual property sales in the last 12 months have come from first-time buyers. With schemes like EasyStart, owning a property can be far less costly than renting and more house-hunters are taking advantage of this."
The Westbrook style is a two-bedroom house, which would ordinarily cost £129,995, but with the £10,000 reduction is now available at £119,995. For those looking to participate in the shared equity EasyStart initiative, the home can be bought at just 85% of the price costing £101,995.
Similarly, both The Buxton and The Croxton styles, which both feature three-bedrooms, were both on the market at £149,995; but with £10,000 knocked off and for those using EasyStart, can be purchased at £118,995.
Mansfield concluded: "Anybody who is interested in the Mountain View development should get in touch or visit the site to see the homes first-hand. Although this is an indefinite offer, we don't anticipate it will take long for them to get snatched up."
