Annington Homes has launched a collection of new homes in Whetstone.
Housebuilder Annington Homes has launched a collection of new homes in Whetstone, N20, in the London borough of Barnet which it claims are over 30% cheaper than current area average.
The family properties, located near to Whetstone's open green spaces and Totteridge and Whetstone tube station, start at a guide price of £295,000 for a two-bedroom house, £325,000 for a three-bedroom house and £350,000 for a four-bedroom house. This is reportedly over 30% lower than the current average in the area, based on the £424,987 average Barnet house price, as reported in the BBC's Jan-Mar 2012 UK house prices.
The family properties are the first to be released at the development by Annington. The new homes have been decorated with new flooring throughout and appear to offer good value for money, featuring good sized room proportions and brand new kitchens and bathrooms. Residents also benefit from allocated parking; a feature that is increasingly rare in many parts of London.
Anita Brown, Regional Sales and Marketing Manager at Annington Homes, comments: "Annington Homes has a longstanding commitment to providing spacious homes at affordable prices and this has never been as true as at our new Whetstone development. The homes offer fantastic value for money in an incredibly desirable location, making them not only great family homes but a wise investment too.
"We have already experienced a high level of interest from a wide range of buyers - from commuters wanting to live near the office, families seeking a home outside of the city and downsizers looking to enjoy a more relaxed pace of life whilst remaining close to the buzz of the capital - and we are very excited to finally be releasing these homes on to the market."
