Celebrity interior designs new homes at Grand Ocean

Derek Taylor of 60 Minute Makeover has interior designed a number of apartments at Grand Ocean in Brighton, which is being developed by housebuilder Explore Living.

The TV presenter is the managing director of Ishoka, one of the UK's top interior design companies, specialising in the creation and implementation of show homes for various new homes developers.

Taylor has created contemporary living combined with Art Deco accents, to give each new home the feel of 1930's glamour.

Grand Ocean is a 1930's art deco former hotel, located in Saltdean on the outskirts of Brighton and comprises of 180 one and two-bedroom apartments, on the doorstep of the rolling Sussex Downs. Apartments come in a range of styles, some with balconies or terraces, with prices ranging from £179,995 to £534,995.

It comprises not only the carefully restored original hotel building, but four new wings whose sleek lines echo the streamlined elegance of the original 1930s building.

Features such as landscaped communal gardens and underground parking add to the convenience and luxury lifestyle afforded by this unique development.
