No 1 The Plaza has been inspired by the New York skyline
Housebuilder Barratt Homes has announced that it will be launching No 1 The Plaza, a new 27-storey residential tower in Bromley-by-Bow, on Saturday 5 May.
Comprised of 183 one, two and three-bedroom apartments as well as one-bedroom suites, No 1 The Plaza is the penultimate phase of the St Andrews development which is formed of a series of striking buildings from three to 27 storeys. Prices start at £198,000 for a one-bedroom suite.
Offering a variety of new homes, many of the apartments at No 1 The Plaza have a balcony or terrace, with views over London's cityscape, looking out onto Olympic Park, Canary Wharf and beyond.
The development is located a short distance to the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the City and it is surrounded by commuter links, including Bromley-by-Bow tube station.
No 1 The Plaza, inspired by the Manhattan lifestyle, will also feature retail units including a grocery store, likely to be Sainsburys, with a proposed coffee shop and health clinic, as well as a 24 hour concierge service and a private residents' 2,500sqft gymnasium.
Bromley-by-Bow is undergoing a process of huge regeneration, benefitting from both the large financial investment in London's East End, as well as the cultural reinvigoration of the capital's east - an area now considered the hub of the city's cultural activities.
Gary Patrick, regional sales director of Barratt London, comments: "The launch of The Plaza marks an exciting point in the history of the Bromley-by-Bow area. With brand-new, contemporary accommodation now available in the district's centre, the development is contributing to the ongoing regeneration of the East End. With the Olympic Park almost at completion and the Games set to be under way within a matter of months, there has never been a more exciting time to invest in the area.
"The Plaza offers a rare opportunity for those searching for a property within commutable distance from the City, yet who still want to be part of the East End's vibrant lifestyle."
