Monday 13th June 2011

A2Dominion New Homes has launched the first phase of affordable homes, available to buy on a shared ownership basis, as part of a £45m development in Stanmore, in the London Borough of Harrow.

Fountain Park, in Honeypot Lane, offers a selection of one and two bedroom homes starting from £91,000 for a 40% share.

A2Dominion New Homes will deliver a total of 134 affordable homes at the development, aimed at first-time buyers or past homeowners seeking to get back onto the property ladder.

It is also providing 122 affordable rented apartments and houses, ranging in size from one to five bedrooms. The building of all of the affordable homes is set to be completed by 2014.

St Edward Homes - a joint venture between Prudential and the Berkeley Group - is building over 500 private new homes for sale on the 15 acre site, which was previously home to DVLA offices.

Tariq Qureshi, A2Dominion's director of sales and marketing in London, commented: "We are delighted to launch the first phase of shared ownership homes at Fountain Park.

"This high-quality development offers homehunters with the best of both city and country life. The scheme is 12 miles from the centre of London, with a direct line into the capital from the nearby Canons Park tube station."
