Overview of Richmond Upon Thames
The Richmond Upon Thames property market covers the following areas:
Richmond is a Georgian Thames-side town with river-promenade, plenty of open spaces and beautiful architecture. Richmond town is located between the river, the park and the open fields of Petersham and consists of Georgian and Victorian properties with very little new housing. Dickens & Jones nestle side-by-side with Waitrose, proving that the upper class professionals are those being attracted to the area.
Richmond Hill plays host to some of the oldest homes in borough including Queen Anne and Regency properties. Petersham is a small village offering rural living for those who can’t bear to be miles from the city while Kew Green, Kew town and its riverside offers prestigious homes with large leafy gardens. Teddington offers suburban family homes. There is also a plentiful supply of riverside apartments in the borough
