Overview of Hounslow

The Hounslow property market covers the following areas:

Hounslow boasts some of London's most sought-after locations. Chiswick and Isleworth have long been the haunt of the middle classes. Chiswick offers a riverside location, excellent transport links into London and open spaces. Property stock here is mostly Victorian cottages and Edwardian terraces with some mansions located off the high street.

Quaint white cottages and houses feature in Isleworth. A mixture of Victorian terraces and more modern properties can also be found in the streets heading north. Head towards Osterley Park for larger Victorian and Edwardian homes. Aside from its riverside locations, Hounslow is typical West London suburb. Interwar semis and social housing feature heavily in Feltham and Hanworth while Hounslow's town centre has a number of Victorian terraces of all sizes.

Regeneration is creating a new face for Brentford. Gone are the 1960s’ tower blocks and the unsightly warehouses of its industrial past; in its place are residential conversions, new shops and restaurants. Further regeneration projects are expected in the future making Brentford one of the hot spots of the borough. Although property prices are low now, they look set to rise in the future.
