Overview of Hammersmith & Fulham

The Hammersmith & Fulham property market covers the following areas:

Hammersmith and Fulham were once overshadowed by their neighbours to the east, Kensington & Chelsea. Now firmly established as fashionable and trendy, the borough, most of which is Victorian, has property prices to match. Small two- and three-storey Victorian houses feature in Fulham while redbrick mansion blocks dominate the borough's borders with the Thames. West Kensington, often seen as the poor relation to Kensington, offers white stucco terraces.

Many of the properties look tired and are in need of some work. Most have been converted into flats available on short rents. However away from the main roads of West Kensington more elegant properties are to be found. Shepherds Bush and Ravenscourt Park offer Victorian semis and terraces.
