Overview of Bromley
The Bromley property market covers the following areas:
Bromley is a borough of contrasting property. Areas including Chislehurst, Bromley Common, Bickley and West Wickham feature large detached houses, some of which are among the most expensive in the south-east. James Major and Emma Noble were once residents of Chislehurst.
On the other hand, areas such as Penge, Orpington and Sundridge offer smaller family homes and apartments at more reasonable prices. Large Victorian homes and many newly-built apartments can be found in Bromley, with the apartments, in particular, situated very close to Bromley North station.
Sundridge benefits from Victorian terraced properties and Penge combines Victorian semis with modern apartments from the1960s to present day.
