Shared Horizons

AmicusHorizon provides homes and services to communities across London, the South and South East of England. We are committed to providing more than bricks and mortar. We work to improve the lives of our residents through innovative programmes and training schemes. Managing over 28,000 homes, we offer housing solutions from general needs, to part-buy/part-rent home ownership, to housing for people with care and support needs.

Our values set the standard as to how we operate as an organisation. They are central to the way we treat both internal and external customers. We developed our values with staff to support our aim of being a three star organisation.

Shared Horizons is a department within AmicusHorizon and helps people into home ownership through part-buy part-rent schemes.

Part-buy/Part-Rent is a Government supported scheme for people who cannot afford to buy a home outright in the 'open market'. It is a scheme where you can buy a share in a property, usually between 25% and 75% and pay a low rent on the part you do not own.  If you choose, you can then save up to buy further shares in the property until you own 100%.

AmicusHorizon develops and manages housing across South London and the South East and provides quality homes for a wide range of people.  The cost of these new homes has been calculated to keep them at a level affordable for key workers and people on lower incomes.  The properties developed by AmicusHorizon are available for sale to people considered in need of affordable housing by the applicants local HomeBuy Agent.
Shared Horizons homes are constructed using modern manufacturing methods and are finished to a high-quality standard.
