With an ambitious development programme across all tenures, the Group has preferred partnership status with the Housing Corporation and received £150m of funding for 2008-2011 - the fifth largest allocation in the country.

We develop across a wide range of geographical areas from rural exception sites through to high density city centre living. Our stock locations set out our current areas of development operation, which is supported by local management activity across the region. We recognise the need for a flexible approach to development, looking at each scheme on an individual basis.

The Group's Development Strategy is to support the delivery of the Government's plans to increase the supply of new homes and respond to the national policy emphasis of more homes for less money. The Group is also committed to the ‘sustainability' agenda and is working towards providing homescosting less to run as well as costing less to build. The focus on reducing carbon emissions is also a key driver for the Group.
