Housebuilder Barratt Homes has started construction work on a residential development featuring 76 new homes on the site of a former school in Furnace Green.
The new homes, which are being developed at the old Robert May School and the North East Area Proffessional Centre site on Furnace Drive, will include 31 affordable homes.
