The Help to Buy (Scotland) initiative set up by the Scottish government on new homes valued up to £400,000 isn't limited to first-time buyers but also to home movers. Those looking to take their next step up the property ladder and find a new home between £200,000 to £250,000 will find plenty of choice available to them through the scheme.

“Floorless” offer from Mactaggart & Mickel Homes across Ayrshire

From 1 November 2013, house-hunters reserving properties at Mactaggart & Mickel's Ayrshire developments Greenan Views, Doonfoot and Meadow Belles, Mauchline will get all their floor coverings absolutely free.

This incentive will be available only on new reservations taken from 1 November 2013, with residents having moved into the property by the 30 April 2014. Lucky new property owners will be able to make their choice from a stylish selection of vinyl and carpet floor coverings.
