Dudley in the West Midlands has been named as the most affordable place to buy a home in the UK by a new Adzuna report.

The study, which has calculated the affordability of areas by looking at average salaries for the top 50 cities in the UK and comparing this to property asking prices and typical mortgage multiples, suggests that nine out of 10 homes in Dudley are affordable for residents on average local incomes.

Housing association A2Dominion has unveiled proposals for a multi-million pound redevelopment of a housing scheme in Oxford.

The not-for-profit organisation plans to redevelop Luther Court to create 43 new homes and 19 cluster apartments for students.

Grosvenor has been named by Oxford City Council as their development partner to deliver up to 1,000 new homes in Barton, following a competitive process that attracted 20 bids.

Grosvenor will contribute funding and development expertise to support the development project at the 90-acre site which has been described by a council spokesperson as "the largest residential development opportunity in the city for many years".
