The availability of 95% mortgages for Scottish buyers has been given a massive boost as a new round of housebuilders join the MI New Home initiative and more options for finance looking set to be available shortly. Like NewBuy in England, the scheme aims to help those with smaller deposits purchase a new home up to £250,000.
Househunters in Scotland who are seeking a MI New Home property have a wide range of Mactaggart & Mickel options to choose from. The innovative scheme means buyers can secure a property with only a 5% deposit on any property to the value of £250,000.
Participating lenders with the Scottish Government backed scheme offer up to 95% mortgages on Mactaggart & Mickel Homes properties.
Joanne Casey, sales & marketing director of Mactaggart & Mickel Homes, says:
Mactaggart & Mickel Homes' prestigious Hillpark development in Edinburgh's Blackhall , a sought-after address since its inception in the 1980s, is launching its final phase. Hillpark Avenue, an exclusive enclave of just eight luxury houses for sale, will feature three superb detached property styles - the ‘Kerrera', ‘Iona' and ‘Staffa'.
Mactaggart & Mickel Homes has just launched its Williamwood development in Clarkston, which will offer a range of two- and three-bedroom apartments as well as contemporary four-bedroom townhouses. Five apartments from this delightful range of new homes in Scotland are currently available in the first release of homes at the development, where interest among house buyers has already been keen.
The first release of properties is now available at Mactaggart & Mickel Homes' newest development Greenan Views, in the South Ayrshire village of Doonfoot. The latest in a long history of successful developments in Ayrshire, Phase 1 will feature 75 properties when complete, ranging from two-bedroom terraced houses through to five-bedroom detached villas.
It would be impossible become Scotland's largest city without having something for everyone, and Glasgow has it all. From trendy one-bedroom apartments to contemporary large family homes, anyone looking for a new-build property in Glasgow is bound to find something they like.
It's not just your local High Street that is getting dressed up for Christmas at the moment, as with less than a month until the big day, leading Scottish housebuilder Mactaggart & Mickel has given all its show homes a bit of seasonal sparkle.
Coffee mornings for charity have stirred up interest at four new housing developments. Mactaggart & Mickel Homes collected £405 for Macmillan Cancer Support's ‘World's Biggest Coffee Morning' by joining firms and groups all over the country by brewing a cup of cheer for sufferers of the illness and their families.
