Knight Frank: 240,000 new homes to be built in London over next decade

An average of around 24,000 new homes per year could be built in London over the next ten years, according to a new Knight Frank report.

But despite the high level of new homes, there will still be a major shortfall in the volume of new build properties being delivered in relation, with additional demand for a further 37,000 homes per year.

The shortfall in central London is even more pronounced, especially when the demand for second homes is taken into account.
