Gold in this category last year was awarded to Ocatgon, while Consero London walked away with silver and joint bronze awards went to Huntsmere and Centenary Homes.

The head of new home developer Huntsmere, Silver winner for Best Luxury House at last year's What House Awards, following a Bronze accolade in 2008, has set his sights firmly on finally winning Gold in the category at this year's event.

A What House? Award winning house is the answer! The football star's home, a five-bedroom mansion located in Prestbury, Cheshire, which he rents for around £12,000 per week, picked up a silver gong in last year's What House? Awards' Best Luxury House category due to its hi-tech features and eco-friendly design.
