Weekly affordable homes round up

New affordable homes in London
Fresh figures released by the Network Housing Group, based on a new report from the London Finance Commission, shows that funds derived from stamp duty from London property sales could have the potential to deliver a 91% increase in the amount of affordable homes built in the capital each year. In 2012, a total of 8,380 affordable homes were built across London's 33 boroughs.

Estate agent Fine is hosting a special event for an exclusive development in Colchester, Essex this weekend. The Open House event is taking place at the development, called Crown Court, in Lexden Road on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March.

Housebuilder Mansfield Developments has created just four new homes at the site in a sought-after area of the town, with detached and semi-detached layouts priced from £355,000. Two of the four properties have in fact already been sold, leaving just Elizabeth House (£355,000) and Victoria House (£465,000) remaining for sale.
