Major plans for new homes in east Truro

A planning application has been submitted for the construction of 98 new homes and some shops, including a Waitrose supermarket, in east Truro, Cornwall.

The proposal to build the new homes on a 19-hectare site close to the city's cattle market, is part of a partnership between Cornwall Council, the Duchy of Cornwall, Waitrose and food producer The Taste of Cornwall.
