David Wilson to help plug rising housing shortage in Cornwall and Devon
Housebuilder David Wilson Homes has announced plans to develop 551 new homes in Cornwall and Devon which should go long way towards helping to solve the local housing crisis.
According to the National Housing Federation, less than 60% of the new homes needed are being developed across the greater South West.

A new development of affordable homes in east Leeds has been completed. The houses are part of the Parkside project, a new development in Seacroft constructed by Jephson Housing Association in conjunction with Bellway Homes. Up to 25 affordable homes will be built in Cornwall after Lanner Parish Council lost a legal bid to stop the scheme being developed. Judge Anthony Thornton QC said Cornwall Council was entitled to construct the new homes to help meet the desperate need for more affordable homes in Cornwall.

Having already sold 45 properties at its popular Redruth development in Cornwall over the past three years, Annington Homes have finally launched the three remaining three- and four-bedroom detached homes, on the market with prices ranging from £184,950 to £194,950.
