Vintage roses, Victorian gardens, romanticism - everywhere we seem to look at present has a big theme of the traditional English rose. Although there are many other trends out there, ‘shabby chic' will not be moved and its popularity continues to rise. Personally, I am a great fan of the traditional English rose but for some of you who do like a floral print but are looking for a ‘fleur' with a difference, this article may be of interest as I would like to compare floral prints and trends.

Decorating your new home - Spring fabrics and furnishings

Bring back the romance into your life and new home this year by keeping up with the spring trends in bright and airy colours and fabrics. Sheer and cotton-based fabrics using traditional floral designs are a good idea for window dressings for bedrooms or dressing rooms. Jacquard (a raised pattern incorporated into the fabric) is also in trend.
