Developers to build 6,000 new homes in Aylesbury Vale

Housebuilders will develop at least 6,000 new homes across Aylesbury Vale over the next 19 years, following a unanimous vote among cabinet members at Aylesbury Vale District Council.

The decision was made to construct the new homes by 2031 to help meet growing demand for housing in the northern half of Buckinghamshire.

But the decision represents a major climb-down from the council after the cabinet indicated earlier this year that it would elect for the construction of 9,000 new homes.
