Anfield

New housing included in Liverpool FC's stadium plans

Up to 250 new homes could be built as part of wider plans to regenerate Anfield, it has been revealed. The proposed £260m project, which is subject to a public consultation, would also see Liverpool FC's stadium expanded, a hotel built and a local business hub developed.

A wide avenue through Stanley Park, which would end in a new public square, would also be created. It is estimated that close to 300 dilapidated properties would be bulldozed to make way for the planned new development.
