Cambridgeshire New homes with five year fixtures and fittings guarantee

New homes in Cambridgeshire which are being built by new home builder, Barratt, will now be covered by a five-year guarantee of its fixtures and fittings, in the hope that it will encourage the sales of more new houses and new flats. 

The items which Barratt Northampton will cover at no extra cost to the buyer will include appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators, kitchen units, wardrobes, the central heating system, fires, doors, windows, drainage, the hot and cold plumbing system and even the driveway.

The five-year guarantee of fixtures and fittings in place at the time of purchase is in addition to the existing ten-year warranty on the structure of the new home build and remains valid even if the new home is sold on to a new owner.

The offer is only available on new homes built in the local area by the housebuilder, marks the culmination of an intensive programme in which the company has focused on raising further the industry-leading quality of its new homes.
